Team Peanut

TEAM PEANUT is a brand that Fitness Competitor, Bethany Nelson created after competing in her 2nd competition from her stage name "PEANUT". Her fitness friends had given her the nickname for her short petite frame and would yell "Go Peanut!" while she performed her Top 10 routine at Fitness America in Las Vegas.

After her show in Vegas, Bethany knew she wanted a chance to compete at the Fitness Universe in Miami this year. With being a business owner she quickly drew up a plan on how to create some extra income that would help sponsor her to go to a competition that would cost her more that just a dream vacation. "For some reason I thought of how popular the TEAM EDWARD and TEAM JACOB shirts were for the Twilight movie craze". And that's how TEAM PEANUT was established. "I started asking my closest friends if they would wear a shirt that said Team Peanut to help sponsor me to have enough money to compete. Once I had a couple of yes's I started researching a custom printing company."

Before she knew it, her Team Peanut tanks and tees had arrived in the mail and she posted a couple of pictures of them on Facebook. They were an instant success! People were simply excited to support Bethany because they see her passion for fitness and what it means for her to compete. After a while, Bethany's male friends were starting to ask about representing as well. "The love and support was almost a bit overwhelming".
